Red Velvet Whoopie Pie
Cream cheese filling
$8-$15
Order
There isn’t a lot of information about these but the
pictures are certainly tempting. Whoopie pies are rare to see and I
appreciate dessert options that aren’t just a scoop of ice cream in a mini
helmet. My very minor complaint is that I think $8 may be high but if they’re the decent size I’d try it.
Al Pastor Nachos
pasilla cheese sauce, spicy pickled onions, avocado salsa,
cotija cheese and cilantro
$12-$15
Order
I appreciate a different presentation of nachos even though
I’d prefer to see a protein, meat or vegan. I like the idea of the salsa and
two kinds of cheese. Usually, pickled onion is something I see in a cava bowl but I like
them so it definitely adds another flavor profile. I do think it needs
something else but it’s a good option for the game.
Thai Spare Ribs
pork spare ribs, onion/cilantro salad
$12-$15
Order
Why aren’t ribs served more often at stadiums? I’ve never
had this flavor on ribs but I would order these and pay $15. The picture shows
a good amount of meat for a more unique appetizer. I don’t know if these would
be enough for dinner, but it is something I can’t find everywhere. The onion
and cilantro don’t seem that necessary but that wouldn’t stop me. However, maybe
dicing the salad up more so you’re not chewing on leaves would be nice.
Chocolate Bread Pudding
warm custard served with vanilla bean ice cream and a salted
caramel drizzle
$8-$15
Order
As long as this is under $10, I would consider trying it. I
would like to try more bread pudding and chocolate sounds like a good idea,
especially with salted caramel. I could do without the ice cream. That may
sound outrageous but not every dessert needs a scoop of it. I’d rather have
extra caramel.
Fried Tamales
Poblano tamales with salsa verde, crema, cotija, cilantro with
pickled onions
$6-$13
Order
Apparently, I need to educate myself more because I had no
idea fried tamales existed. I would order this, maybe even two orders
especially if they are under $10. All the ingredients make sense and it’s also
vegetarian-friendly. As long as they don’t get over fried these should be
great.
