Zapps Boudin Balls
Cajun sausage and rice balls that are fried
$4.76 at Walmart
Order
I love Cajun flavors and I know this brand is well respected
in the south. It’s like Cajun arancini. I would make a remoulade with these
if they need sauce. This reminds me of Popeyes dirty rice but fried. Being at
Walmart is convenient as well so I would definitely pick these up if I was
doing some shopping there.
Zapps Fried Pickles
Seasoned with Zapps Voodoo blend
$4.76 at Walmart
Order
I haven’t had a lot of experience with fried pickles but I’m
interested in the seasoning blend for these. The batter also looks like my
preference so I’d try these as well. Not for a meal, I would need something
else and maybe a sauce but I like fried vegetables enough to try it. If these
do well id like to see fried onions, green beans, and asparagus.
Zapps Pimento Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers
Made with Zapps hotter than hot seasoning blends
I already like jalapeno poppers but the pimento cheese
filling is the reason I’d be buying these. To be honest, I don’t care for the
versions with just plain cream cheese unless you are adding bacon. Even then
I’m hoping for a different cheese. I would pay extra for this brand to release
some sauces with these but I can make my own, it's not a dealbreaker. I like to
see more spicy options so I would try this as well.
Pioneer Woman Sausage Ravioli with Marinara Sauce
Fried Ravioli
Price Unknown
Order
I have been hearing about fried ravioli for years but I have
never seen it in person. It’s like snack-sized lasagna that is fried. I really
enjoy sausage with Italian flavors so this would be an easy buy. I also don’t
think I would go through the trouble of frying this on my own so it’s worth a
try.
Pioneer Woman Goat Cheese bites with Marinara
Price Unknown
Order
I enjoy goat cheese but I know its not a popular cheese. It
can be strong and expensive for decent quality. Fried cheese is really hard to
resist. I can only eat so many mozzarella sticks before it gets old. I think id
like a little bit more though. Maybe a spinoff of arancini instead. I’m unsure
about the sauce pairing but I don’t have to eat it. Maybe I would have these on
top of a protein instead of just alone. Like a more fun version of the chicken
and goat cheese dish at bonefish.
