I recently just moved into my own space which means I'm back to cooking with more regularity (baking as well sometime soon, definitely by summer). In this series, I will share some of my dinners that I really enjoyed and or using new to me items.
Harissa Thighs with Broccoli
Marinade for 5 boneless skinless thighs:
-trader joes harissa paste (1-2 spoonfuls)
-trader joes tahini paste (2 spoonful’s or so)
-cumin
-olive oil (at least a tablespoon or so)
-paprika (smoked if you have it)
-garlic powder
-Moroccan grill seasoning (Lidl)
-garlic and herb seasoning (Lidl)
-cinnamon
I consider myself an advanced home chef so I rarely measure
seasonings. The broccoli was just steamed, tossed with some extra creamy
butter, salt, black garlic (trader joes) and paprika.
Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
I randomly found this recipe through a Reddit user
Emily_davies499. You can use whatever seasonings you want with this. I used
extra-large shrimp and a little more than half of a pack of bacon. Cut the
strips in half to wrap each shrimp. 350 for 15 mins, flip until the bacon is
crispy, so another 10 mins or so.
Honey Aleppo Wings
I just used neutral seasonings and tossed them with Trader
Joe’s Honey Aleppo Sauce. Next time I will add honey to the sauce to make them
more sticky. I baked the wings 420 for 25 mins.
